Yuki Rikichi is a Shinigami, an ordinary officer of the Sixth Division of the Gotei 13. He is the older brother of Yuki Ryūnosuke, a Shinigami of the Thirteenth Division. Rikichi joined the Sixth Division solely out of admiration for Abarai Renji, whom he considered his hero. This admiration was so strong that Rikichi helped Yamada Hanatarō escape from prison so that he could treat Renji's wounds. Rikichi wears a tattoo above his left eye in imitation of Renji. Years after the Thousand-Year Blood War, he was promoted to third officer of the Sixth Division.

I beg you too! I couldn't believe it. That you lost to Ryoka... Or that you escaped from under guard. Or, that you pointed your sword at us without a good reason. But I... I joined the sixth squad to be like you, Renji-san! I understood that, no matter what, I want you to survive! And I want you to fight for what you believe in!
