Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni

Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni is the founder and first Commander-in-Chief of the Gotei 13, the organization of Shinigami that protects the Soul Society. For over two thousand years he remained the strongest among his people, having no equal in power. His spirit sword, Ryujin Jakka, is the oldest and most destructive fire blade, and his bankai, Zanka no Tachi, is capable of incinerating everything around, including the wielder himself. Yamamoto is the embodiment of unyielding will, law and order, a man who walked the path from a ruthless warrior to a wise but stern leader. He raised an entire generation of captains, but kept in his heart regret over his own cruel past. He died during the Thousand-Year Blood War with the Quincy, fighting against Yhwach, and after death was sent to Hell during the Konsō Reisai ritual.
