Tessai Tsukabishi

Tessai Tsukabishi is an employee of Urahara Shop and one of the most experienced Shinigami hiding in the living world. More than a hundred years ago he held the position of captain of the Kido Corps and was known as the Head of Kido, which made him one of the strongest spell masters in the entire Soul Society. After the hollowfication incident he was falsely accused and sentenced to life imprisonment, but was saved by Yoruichi Shihoin and fled to Karakura together with Kisuke Urahara. There he became an indispensable assistant in the shop, as well as a mentor and protector for Jinta Hanakari and Ururu Tsumugiya. Despite his formidable power, Tessai prefers to stay in the shadows, demonstrating calmness, discipline and devotion to his friends.
