Kotetsu Isane

Kotetsu Isane is the captain of the 4th Division of the Gotei 13, having previously served as lieutenant under the legendary Retsu Unohana. She is known as one of the most skilled healers in the Soul Society, whose knowledge of kaido and healing is second only to the mastery of her late mentor. Despite her gentle and shy nature, Isane possesses unyielding loyalty to her comrades and, in moments of danger, is capable of showing courage worthy of a captain. Her tall stature and stately figure contrast with her inner timidity, and her frequent nightmares about harmless things like fish paste have become a subject of good-natured jokes among those close to her. After Unohana's death, Isane took command of the 4th Division, striving to preserve its spirit of mercy and healing.
