Quincy: who it is, abilities, history and all known representatives
Quincy are people capable of seeing spirits and fighting Hollows using external spiritual particles. Unlike Shinigami, who purify Hollows, Quincy completely destroy them, which disrupts the balance of worlds. Because of this, Soul Society exterminated most Quincy 200 years ago. The survivors split: some remained in the human world (the Ishida family), while others created the hidden empire of Wandenreich under the leadership of Yhwach.
