Yhwach is the king of the Quincy, the father of the modern Quincy race, and the emperor of the Wandenreich. His name bears the imprint of divinity: he named himself after the god worshipped by the people around him. Yhwach possesses a unique ability to share his soul with others, granting them power and taking it back after their death. He bears the Schrift "A" - "The Almighty," which allows him to see and change the future.
