Don Kanonji

Don Kanonji is a famous Japanese medium and TV host, a man with spiritual power who sincerely believes in his calling to protect people from evil spirits. He is not a Shinigami, but he possesses the ability to see Hollows and to use his own spiritual energy for attacks. His show "Unconstrained Journey Through Holy Places" is watched by millions, and his signature pose and laugh "BOHaHAHA!!" have become recognizable throughout Karakura. After meeting Kurosaki Ichigo, Kanonji becomes his ally and even calls himself his mentor, although Ichigo views this with a considerable dose of skepticism. Despite his comical appearance and at times naive methods, Kanonji has more than once proven that courage and the desire to help are more important than strength.
