Keigo Asano is a human, a student at Karakura High School, and a classmate of Ichigo Kurosaki. He was born on April 1st and lives in Naruki City. Keigo is a noisy, hyperactive, and slightly frivolous teenager who loves girls, video games, and fireworks. Despite his outward carelessness, he is good-natured and loyal to his friends. Keigo is friends with Mizuiro Kojima, whose calm and successful-with-the-opposite-sex character serves as a contrast to his impulsiveness. He has a sister, Mizuho, who treats him with disdain. Keigo possesses spiritual perceptiveness thanks to his constant contact with Ichigo, although he himself only became aware of this after Ikkaku Madarame's fight. He has no unique spiritual powers, but he is able to sense spiritual energy and withstand the presence of strong spiritual entities. Years after the victory over Yhwach, Keigo opens a ramen shop called "Will" in Karakura.
