Aroniro Arurueri

Aroniro Arurueri is an Arrancar, a former Noveno Espada in Sosuke Aizen's army, embodying the aspect of death through Greed. He is unique in being the only Gillian among the Espada - usually Hollows of this class are too weak for such a high rank. His true form is hidden behind a mask and a glass capsule with two small heads that speak in different voices and refer to themselves in the plural. Aroniro possesses the ability to absorb other Hollows and take on their powers, which gives him a potentially limitless potential for evolution. Having absorbed Metastacia, he gained the body, memory, and zanpakutō of Kaien Shiba, which allowed him to cruelly manipulate Rukia Kuchiki. He died at her hands, pierced by her shikai.
